Excellent staff. Convenient

Dirty hand basins and shower.
pretty much all was good. didnt get a chance to experience it really
shower a bit dirty, curtain not good. shower door dodgy.
I chose your Hotel for several reasons, your location to where I needed to go (travelled by train), I was able to hop off and on the Collins Street tram to all venues I was visiting. This was really handy for me a I was a solo traveller and I felt secure with the convenience of public transport at my door.
The selling point for me that it was handy to all locations I needed to go to. My single room was well suited for me as a solo traveller, your cafe was great. I would like to see some sort of bonus (cheaper rate is I use it again).
Closeness to town and transport facilities
Skylight in the room and the very small bathroom area.
Staff were lovely especially the gentleman at reception and at the cafe. The lady at breakfast was also lovely.
Dinner was not that nice (nachos and fish & chips)
Pleasant hip environment. Convenient location with necessary facilities for city accommodation.
Would have enjoyed slightly more space in room .
I confirmed my booking with the hotel staff two days before check-in, they arranged a better room (with opening windows) on upper floors for me.
I loved the central location, close to public transport, the Crown Casino, Southbank. I also prefer a small hotel. I also appreciated that I had a free upgrade to my room, that was a nice surprise. I came to Melbourned to play in a poker tournament and this hotel was recommended by a fellow poker player who always stays at the Pensione.
I didn't find the size of the ensuite bathroom too difficult to manage but a larger person would. I found that when seated on the toilet, my knees hit the cabinet enclosing the hand basin. This would be a definite problem for a larger person. Also I would have liked a bench or rack to put my suitcase on in the room. Once you used the seat at the desk to sit on there was nothing to put your case on.
I liked the bed abd pillows, very comfy. And having air-con was also nice
No window. Mosquitos flying around.
Location perfect for getting to all the main attractions, The stadium, casino, aquarium, eureka skydeck & the train/bus station ect.
The breakfast cafe was well set out and had a wide variety of food.
While there was a note left for us, the tv had no foxtel channels nor did it have channel 9. Also, the basin in the bathroom was very small and there was no shelf to put toiletries on.
central location, comfy room good facilities
room a little small poor reception on the tv
The clean rooms were the best feature although it was small. Staff were helpful and parking was available nearby.
We booked a double and upon calling to confirm the booking it was confirmed we had the petit. I questioned this and was answered with "ahh that's right", by John. Judging by the size of the room we were given the petit.
Good location, Friendly staff, Great facilities and Nice cafe/bar onsite.
Room was quite small and noisy as it was on the ground floor near reception. Better value than most Melbourne hotels, but still very pricey when compared to other Australian cities.
